1. Keep the area clean
If you had stitches, keep them covered with clean bandage until they are removed.
2. Keep hydrated
Dry skin is more vulnerable to scarring. Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water. When your body is well hydrated, it helps the regeneration of your skin cells and the restoration of skin structure. Apply a thin layer of lightweight moisturizer over the wound and its surrounding skin to protect it from any allergens.

3. Scar treatment cream
The use of scar treatment cream can help to reduce scarring. Common natural ingredient used in these scar treatment creams like onion extract is good at preventing and treating scars.
4. Massage
Light massage can provide better blood circulation to the wound area and its surrounding skin tissues. This improves the regeneration of skin cells and thus reduces mole removal scar.
5. Reduce sun exposure
Avoid sun exposure at all cost. This is a crucial aftercare advice following a mole removal procedure. The sun ray can cause great damage to the wound and the newly developed skin tissues. This can delay the healing process and subsequently cause scarring. Wear sunscreen with high SPF to protect the area if you really need to go out.
6. Vitamin E oil
Strengthen your skin with Vitamin E oil helps to minimize scarring too. Vitamin E is known to be good for nourishing skin and improving scars.
7. Consume foods that are good for skin
Eat more fruits and vegetables to help maintaining a balanced skin. Vitamins and minerals from a healthy diet can help hydrate and nourish the skin to aid the healing process.
